Even though Animal Kingdom Park does not have a lot of table service dining options, the restaurants that are inside this park are definitely worth visiting. Whether you want to start your day with a character buffet breakfast at Tusker House or have an art-inspired dinner, Animal Kingdom is a great place for a dining reservation.
As the sign that guests see at the check-in desk at Tiffins, “Tiffins is a gallery of art based on the travel and adventure that inspired the creation of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.” Walking around the restaurant and looking at all of the artwork that the Imagineers used as inspiration while designing Animal Kingdom Park is a wonderful experience by itself. Then, add the different dishes that are served and it is incredible. Tiffins can also be reserved with the Rivers of Light dining package. With this dining package, guests are able to sit in the VIP section for that same evening’s Rivers of Light show. Tiffins is a Signature Dining Experience and is worth 2 table service credits on the Disney Dining Plan. Reservations are recommended.
Tusker House Restaurant
Visiting Tusker House for Donald’s Safari Breakfast has always been a family favorite! The characters at Tusker House are always fun. Guests are greeted by Donald Duck before going into the restaurant and while inside, Donald’s friends greet guests at their tables. When we have dined, we have had the opportunity of meeting Mickey, Goofy and Daisy while at Tusker House. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet-style at Tusker House with an African-cuisine flair. Tusker House can also be reserved with the Rivers of Light dining package. With this dining package, guests are able to sit in the VIP section for that same evening’s Rivers of Light show. Tusker House is worth 1 table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan and advanced reservations are recommended.
Other table service options at Animal Kingdom Park include the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom Park and Yak & Yeti.
