Bay Lake Tower Studio Photo Review

Bay Lake Tower is the Disney Vacation Club and Deluxe Villa resort area at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.  It is connected to Disney’s Contemporary Resort by a Sky Way Bridge.  Within a matter of minutes you can walk from your room over to The Contemporary Resort and hop on the monorail inside The Contemporary  to go Magic Kingdom or Epcot.  Another great option if you are visiting the Magic Kingdom is that you can walk to Magic Kingdom from Bay Lake Tower in about 10-15 minutes.  This resort is such a great location for visiting the Magic Kingdom.

Deluxe Studio

During a recent stay, I stayed in one of the Deluxe Studios at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It was a Bay Lake View on the 9th floor. The Deluxe Studio at Bay Lake Tower sleeps up to 4 adults.

Entry into Deluxe Studio

As you enter the room, there is a bathroom to one side and before you get to the end of the entry, there is a kitchenette and across from it is a closet.  When you get to the end of the entry hall, the room opens up.

Bathroom

The bathroom area is a nice size with sliding barn doors.  There are several built-in shelves for storage.

Kitchenette

The kitchenette is similar in shape to a galley kitchen.  There is a small fridge, as well as a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster.  I also find this area to be a great area for someone to get ready in the morning if the bathroom is not available.  There is a sink, plenty of counter space and a full-length mirror.

Kitchenette entry. Nice full-length mirror. Also provides extra space for getting ready in morning.

Bay Lake Room View

There are three room views you can chose when staying at Bay Lake Tower.  Standard View, which is a view of possibly the building, parking lot or grounds.  Bay Lake View, which is what this particular room was.  We had a view of Bay Lake and of the Bay Lake Tower pool area.  At night, we could see the Electrical Water Pageant as it made its way across Bay Lake back to the Seven Seas Lagoon.  The third room view option is a Theme Park View room.  This will give you views of Magic Kingdom.

I love staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.  It is so easy to get to Magic Kingdom either by walking or monorail.  At Bay Lake Tower, there are also 1-bedroom and  2-bedroom villas, as well as Grand Villas, which are 3-bedroom villas.

Transportation

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort  is located near Magic Kingdom. There is a walkway to Magic Kingdom or monorail access via The Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom or Epcot. There are also resort buses available to take guests to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, the two Disney water parks and Disney Springs.
