Our first full day on the Disney Fantasy was a day at sea. Sea days are always a great way to spend time exploring the ship. We started our day with breakfast at Cabanas. After breakfast, the kids wanted to ride the AquaDuck and spend some time at Edge.
After some AquaDuck and pool time, we went back to our room to clean up so the kids could go to Edge, while Michael and I went to a Mixology class with our Facebook Cruise group!
The Mixology class was a lot of fun. It was in the Skyline Lounge, which is a really cool place to hang out and have a few drinks. Even if you do not like adult beverages, you should go in and check it out. The backdrop changes every so often to make you feel like you are in a different city.
I decided to participate in the Mixology class by sampling what everyone else made. No pressure if I messed up a drink since I didn’t make any! Michael did make a drink. It was a Bomb Pop. It tasted and looked like the Bomb Pop popsicles.
After our Mixology class, Michael and I decided to go out and walk around the deck. I’m so glad we did. We were able to see Cuba from our ship.
Since it was Formal Night, we went back to our room so we could get ready.
Our course we had to get our picture taken with Captain Mickey and several others by the Disney photographers on the ship.
After we watched the show, Aladdin…(which was amazing!!!), our dinner that evening was at Animator’s Palate. This is one of my favorite restaurants. On this night, Crush from Finding Nemo was the entertainment. I love the paint cup and brushes on the table and how the butter knife is shaped like a paint brush!
It was a fun day at sea! The next day, we were going to Cozumel, Mexico! We ended our night with the cute towel art on our bed!
