This was our last day for this trip to Disney World. We spent the morning at Epcot and the evening at Hollywood Studios.
When we were at Epcot a few days earlier, we had tried to ride Test Track and the ride went down while we were designing our cars. They gave us a fast pass to come back and ride it again. We made sure to use it on this day! Plus, we had fast passes for Test Track too.
After we rode Test Track, we decided to ride Ellen’s Energy Adventure. We had never taken the time to ride it. It is a long ride…around 45 minutes or so. It is an older attraction and probably does need some updating, but it was a great place to be since it was hot outside and the whole ride was air conditioned!
Our next fast passes were for the Character Spot. We met with Mickey, Goofy and Minnie. Fast Passes like these are always a great way to easily meet a few characters. Zachary had bought a Goofy hat and when Goofy saw the hat, he was very excited and wanted to do a few photos with only Zachary.
We rode Spaceship Earth with our fast passes and then went back to Test Track to use our “free” fast pass. By this time, we were all hungry for lunch and decided to go back to the World Showcase. We ate at the Patisserie Boulangerie in France. We stopped for photo pass photos on the way.
After lunch the Serveur Amusant was performing in front of Chefs de France. I am always amazed overtime we stop to watch this show.
We walked around the World Showcase. Zachary wanted to play Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure. So we stopped and signed him up.
While we were in China, Zachary searched for his clue and Taylor played with the puppets. They have always been something that she loves to play with while at Epcot. She’s pretty good at getting them to walk around.
After we had seen and done everything we wanted to do at Epcot, we took one of the Friendship boats from Epcot to Hollywood Studios. We didn’t have a lot of time at Hollywood Studios before our dinner at Beaches and Cream, but we wanted to try to get a fast pass for after dinner for Rock N Roller Coaster. Which, we were able to do! We rode Star Tours before we had to leave to go to the Beach Club and stopped for a picture in front of Echo Lake.
Then we were on our way to dinner. We took the boat from Hollywood Studios to the Beach Club. We had a little bit of time before our dinner reservations, so we went to the lobby and asked the front desk to print us out a copy of our dining credits so we could see what we had left to use. We had quite a few snack credits left.
Beaches and Cream is an awesome little restaurant at the Beach Club. It is like an old-fashioned soda shop. The burgers are really good and the ice cream sundaes are yummy! This is the place where you can get the Kitchen Sink sundae. We saw two of them being made while we were there. We didn’t order one because we knew we needed a few more people to make it worth ordering, so we ordered sundaes for our dessert and probably should have split our desserts because they were huge!
After dinner, we went back to Hollywood Studios. Rode Rock N Roller Coaster and a few other rides. And of course, we stopped for a few photos.
We had to get back to Bay Lake so we could pack our things and get ready for our flight home. We had a fun birthday trip to Disney World.
