Last week, I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Disneyland for agent training with several other agents at Magical Vacations. I think we will all agree that it was a great time and that we learned a lot!
It had been a few years since I had been to Disneyland and now can’t wait until I get the chance to go back!! Disneyland is so different from Disney World. There are some rides and attractions that are the same at both parks, but Disneyland has rides that are no longer at Disney World or just different rides. It’s a lot of fun at Halloween because they do special overlays on some of the rides…like the Haunted Mansion is taken over by Jack Skellington and the rest of the Nightmare Before Christmas gang.
Here are a few pictures of the Haunted Mansion…one of my favorites.
Of course while I was at Disneyland, it was all ready for Halloween and celebrating throughout the park. I absolutely loved the entrance of Disneyland with the characters as giant jack o’lanterns. As you walked down Main Street USA, there were a lot of really cute pumpkins above the stores.
I love some of the other differences around Disneyland. They have the Tea Cups, but they are surrounded by colorful lanterns.
Disneyland also still has ToonTown. It is so cute.
They also have different rides like the Storybook Land Canal Boats.
At night, you can watch the fireworks show, Remember…Dreams Come True. It is amazing. I love how Tinker Bell flies around the castle quite a few times. Disney fireworks are always the best.
In my next posts, I will show some of my time spent at Disney’s California Adventure (such a fun park!) and Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland.
