Spring Break 2013 – Disney World Day 3!!

Spring Break 2013 – Disney World Day 3!!

March 16, 2013

Saturday was our last full day at Disney World.  We knew we would go to Hollywood Studios to start the day.  We took the boat over from the Beach Club.

As soon as we got inside, Michael moved his way up through the crowd as far as he could.  This is always our plan at Hollywood.  Then, when they open the park, he gets to Toy Story Mania as quick as he can to get fast passes.  We followed and made it to the ride about the time he was getting our fast passes.  We all got in the standby line together and rode my favorite ride!!!

After riding Toy Story, we headed over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.  Taylor won’t ride it, so they got fast passes for it so I could ride it later.  Taylor and I looked around in the gift shop.

After they rode the coaster, it was time for us to go back to TSM to use our Fast Passes.  After riding it and getting beat again by Michael. We went and rode Star Tours.  After, the kids and Martin posed for some pictures on this Star Wars vehicle.

We had more fun around Hollywood Studios…I got to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster…

Everyone but Taylor and me were able to ride The Tower of Terror…one of my favorites, but Taylor won’t go near it…

We missed seeing the Beauty and the Beast Show, but had enough time to watch The Indiana Jones Stunt Show.  After we watched it, we headed off to lunch at the Sci-Fi Drive In Theater.  It was really good and a lot of fun!  It was pretty cool to sit in the cars and watch old sci-fi movie clips. I really liked the old drive-in concession commercials!

After lunch, we decided to head back to the Beach Club to relax by the pool.  The Yacht and the Beach Club share a pool area and it is the best pool I have ever been to.  It is called Stormalong Bay and is like a mini water park.  There are some cool slides, a lazy river and best of all, it is a sand-bottom pool!  Makes you really feel like you are at a beach!

Of course, on the way back to the Beach Club everyone was a little tired…including Uncle Martin!

After some fun at the pool, we headed back to Epcot for the evening to look around a little more.  The kids also wanted to try out the Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure.  This is based off of Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb. The kids became special agents to help out Agent P.  Our mission was in France.

After they had solved the case, we continued to walk around the World Showcase.  We stopped for a few photos…

Got beer and pretzels from Germany…

And played with puppets in China…

We had dinner in Mexico and before we knew it, it was getting dark.  We stopped for a few more photos before we knew we needed to call it a night and head back to the Beach Club.
