Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White
This has become one of my favorite character restaurants at Walt Disney World! First, who doesn’t love Snow White and getting to meet Dopey and Grumpy! Of course, there is the Evil Queen too, but she’s so serious! 🙂 Second, the food is great and I love wandering around Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Artist Point is now a character dinner located in an Enchanted Forest. It became Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White in December 2018. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant two times. Both times were great and I would go back again and again! Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy will come to your table to meet you, take photos and sign autographs. After dinner, the Evil Queen will greet you and take photos.
As you walk up to the restaurant, there is an art gallery featuring paintings about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Story Book Dining
When you go inside Artist Point, you are immediately inside the Enchanted Forest story book and the story continues as you sit down at your table and open your menu.
Story Book Dining at Artist Point offers a prix-fixe dinner. Each guest will have their choice of an individual entree, along with shared appetizers and desserts. The menu items are all Snow White themed! Currently, this dinner is worth 1 table-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. There are specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available on the menu as well.
Your meal begins with shared appetizers. These are Mushroom Bisque in a fun mini cauldron, a Wicked Shrimp Cocktail and Hunters Terrine, which consists of chicken, Black Truffle, Stone Fruit Preserve and House-made Pickles.
Next on the menu is “The Core of the Story Entrees.” Each adult can chose one entree from the menu. Pictured below is the Brother’s Grimm Roasted Chicken. It was delicious. It includes herb-crusted potatoes, fire-roasted petite squash and golden raisins.
Next, are the Desserts! Not only are these delicious, but they are so cute that you almost do not want to eat them. The desserts are for the entire table and again placed on the fun tree centerpiece.
The final piece of the dessert is very special in presentation. It is The Hunter’s Gift to the Queen. The server brings it out separately for its presentation.
While you are dining, Snow White, Grumpy and Dopey will come to your table to meet you, possibly be silly, take photos and sign autographs.
At the end of your meal, before you leave the restaurant, you may go to the Evil Queen and meet her. She stays in her meeting area and since she is the queen and very important, she does not go to the tables. She definitely lets you know with the way she carries herself that she is very important.
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a really fun character meal. Up until this dining option, it was really difficult to meet any of the dwarfs outside of a special-ticketed party. I have met Dopey years ago at Epcot, but had never met Grumpy outside of the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The Evil Queen is also a character that you don’t see as often in the parks. So, getting to meet these characters makes this dining option a great one! Not to mention that the food is wonderful! If you are looking for a fun character dining option with great food, I highly recommend Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. It is currently worth 1 table-service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. If you are not on a dining plan, the current price is $59 for adults (ages 10 and up) and $39 for children ages 3-9. It is only open for dinner from 4-9 p.m. Reservations are strongly recommended for this dining opportunity.
